ZeroOutages Services Overview

ZeroOutages provides three classes of service: Our entry level Managed Router/Firewalls, our primary VIP SD-WAN offerings, and our Branch solutions which are designed specifically for MPLS replacement and large site-to-site deployments. Use the selection options below to learn more and select the best VIP service for your organization.

VIP Standard

ZeroOutages VIP (Virtual IP) services were called "the standard" by SDNNews.

ZeroOutages SD-WAN services sit in front of an existing firewall and incorporate all of the features that one would expect from a premium SD-WAN service, including: Virtual IP Addressing for seamless link failover and failback with automated application redundancy, QoS (Quality of Service) for prioritizing and optimizing critical application traffic, and DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) to protect against these types of hacking attempts.

Our VIP Standard service is designed for the SMB market and provides 1Gbps throughput performance per Internet connection (up to 2Gbps total). If you are looking for inbound/server connectivity as well, for VPN or RDP connectivity, you may want to consider our VIP Dedicated service. Larger organizations should consider our VIP Enterprise product, with 10Gbps fiber SFP modules.

VIP Dedicated

ZeroOutages VIP Dedicated is designed for customers that have an existing Sophos XG or XGS firewall. This service works with that customers dedicated firewall device and includes all of our standard SD-WAN services, including VIP, QoS, and DDoS protection, but also includes custom LAN networking, and dedicated virtual IP addressing for inbound connectivty.

ZeroOutages SD-WAN services incorporate all of the features that one would expect from a premium SD-WAN service, including: Virtual IP Addressing for seamless link failover and failback with automated application redundancy, QoS (Quality of Service) for prioritizing and optimizing critical application traffic, and DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) to protect against these types of hacking attempts.

A dedicated VIP is typically used for server, RDP, VPN, and other inbound application connectivity. This means that no matter which Internet circuit or WAN link, is active, users on the Internet can access these services via the same IP address at all times (the address never changes, even during an outage event).

Our VIP Dedicated service is designed for the SMB market where customers have their own Sophos firewall devices.

VIP Enterprise

ZeroOutages VIP Enterprise services are unqiue in the industry as they provide up to 100Gbps throughput performance, with our base VIP Enterprise product supporting up to 10Gbps connectivity via our fiber SFP modules. Each VIP Enterprise product includes our core SD-WAN functionality, including VIP, dedicated VIP, QoS and DDoS protection. Our enterprise class services also incorporate full application routing and traffic management functionality, similar to our other VIP services.

Dedicated VIPs are available and can be used for server, RDP, VPN, and other inbound application connectivity. This means that no matter which Internet circuit or WAN link, is active, users on the Internet can access these services via the same IP address at all times (the address never changes, even during a network WAN/link failure).

The following is a list of core features provided:

  • True SD-WAN with Virtual IP Addressing
  • Application Policy-Based Routing & Control
  • QoS (Quality of Service)
  • Traffic Shaping and Bandwidth Management
  • Cloud-Based IDS/IPS and DDoS Protection
  • Email Outage Alerts and System Alerts
  • Weekly SD-WAN Usage and Circuit Report
