Under normal traffic levels the BGPproxy will allow sessions to use as much bandwidth as they need or as the network administrator has allocated, however under periods of high network usage and saturation, the BGPproxy will re-allocate the bandwidth based on application and server preferences, thus ensuring that critical applications always receive the bandwidth they need in order to maintain end-user productivity.
